Up And at 'emOn 17 March 2012, women from all walks of life will be lacing up their training shoes for a good cause at the corporate challenge Adventure Boot Camp to be held in Kempton Park.Cindy Brits, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Dazzle, whose office is situated in the area, says: "As a member of RE/MAX Dazzle and Inspiring Women Kempton Park, we are sending a team to the challenge and we are sending out our own challenge to other companies, schools, churches or any other groups in Kempton Park to do the same and to participate in this fundraising event." Brits notes that the event is a great way for woman in the community to get their heart rates up, burn calories and have fun, all in the name of charity. To participate in the event there is a minimal fee of R125 per person of which 50% of the proceeds will be donated to The Casa Caritas Homes, a non-profit and non-racial organisation caring for the mentally and physically handicapped. "It is always great to see the RE/MAX brand and team members involved with projects that uplift and make a difference to the community in they live, work and play," says Adrian Goslett, CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa. The event, to be held at Inspiring Women Kempton Park, will start at 9am with a welcome before everyone starts the hour long sweat and burn session with personal trainer and group instructor, Hermien Mostert. Participants can make use of the RE/MAX entrance and there will be ample secure parking and a jumping castle for the kids. "To make the event a success we will need as many women as possible to participate, whether they are walkers, runners, cheer leaders or just a support team. The goal is to have 100 participants taking part on the day," says Brits. As the event is a corporate challenge, teams will need to enter and the top teams will be awarded with prizes in various categories such as most funds raised, team spirit, most original team name and overall team work. "Teams are encouraged to go all out with themed team shirts, war cries and plenty of enthusiasm. Although the RE/MAX Dazzle Team won't be divulging what we will be wearing on the day, one thing is for sure, we will have our game faces on," Brits concludes.
